What Is Your Decision?

What Is Your Decision? is a simulation programme designed to help teachers infuse contemporary environmental concepts and related issues into the teaching of Science, Biology, English language or MUET in schools. This is achieved through a role-playing and cooperative learning approach adopted in the courseware. This teaching-learning approach is also intended to reinforce the development of general social skills and higher-order thinking skills, such as collaborative skills, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

About the author
Gan Siowck Lee obtained her doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Hawaii on a scholarship programme of the East-West Center, U.S.A. She was Associate Professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia where she spent 20 years in teacher education and research in teaching and learning, with emphasis on e-learning, distance learning, cooperative learning and environmental education. She has published widely both locally and internationally, including writing a column in The Star¹s In.Tech section.
